Role Overview:

The Associate will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth equity investments, while also supporting the development and success of portfolio companies. This position offers hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle, significant responsibility, and collaboration with senior leadership and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in deal execution, including transaction structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Develop and articulate investment theses and recommendations in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies, supporting operational improvements, strategic growth initiatives, and long-term value creation plans.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials for internal committees and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and advisors to strengthen deal flow and investment opportunities.
  • Sourcing Investment Opportunities: Proactively identify and source growth equity opportunities by conducting industry research, networking with founders and entrepreneurs, and building relationships with intermediaries and advisors.
  • Conduct market research, financial analysis, and detailed due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a strong academic record
  • 2-3 years of pre-MBA experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently source and assess investment opportunities.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passion for growth equity and partnering with companies to achieve transformational outcomes.
