Tenfold is working with a prominent energy investment firm in Houston in their search for an Associate to join their energy transition investment team. The firm has recently closed a major fund, reflecting strong investor confidence and dedication to sustainable energy ventures. The team is dedicated to growth equity investments in pure-play renewables and the broader transition fuels sector. We seek candidates with a minimum of two years of analyst experience in investment banking, specifically within the power and renewable energy sectors. Additionally, the firm is open to individuals with transaction execution experience working for an Independent Power Producer (IPP).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential investments.
  • Perform thorough due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, risk assessment, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio investments, including performance tracking and strategic planning.
  • Participate in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and execute investment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of analyst experience in investment banking, specifically within the power and renewable energy sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Transaction execution experience working for an Independent Power Producer (IPP) is also considered.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
