A sustainable infrastructure investment platform specializing in energy and digital infrastructure is seeking an experienced SVP of Strategic Finance.

This role can be based remotely or in one of their key offices located in New York City, Dallas, or Los Angeles.

As the SVP of Strategic Finance, you will report directly to the executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy. You will lead the development and management of a dynamic investment platform across real estate, digital infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors.

Your focus will be on optimizing returns and ensuring the scalability of the firm’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the corporate financial model, offering strategic recommendations based on your analysis.
  • Oversee strategic planning processes, including the preparation of investor communication materials, board presentations, and quarterly reporting.
  • Provide key financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making for capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with investment banks and financing partners to explore leverage strategies, delivering clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Regularly generate and present asset-level financial scenarios, identifying the impacts on the overall portfolio, and offering strategic recommendations.
  • Identify capital market opportunities and provide data-driven analyses to support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and leverage strategies.
  • Partner with executive management to support fundraising efforts and develop unique financial structures to support growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders and investors, acting as a senior external representative of the firm.
  • Analyze and mitigate financial risks related to the company’s portfolio, including interest rates, currency fluctuations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or REITs, with a strong preference for experience in real assets, renewable energy, or digital infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex financial strategies and convey insights to key stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and mentor junior team members.
